One of the fastest growing companies in the North East

Furniture Clinic has been named as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the North East for the second year running. With an average growth rate of 44.66% over the last three years, we are ranked 13th in the list this year.

Our Managing Director, Ben Staerck, said, “We are thrilled to have made the list once again as one of the fastest growing small businesses in the North East. Our turnover has now exceeded £7 million for the first time as we continue to expand the business both in the UK and overseas. Commitment from our loyal team and the move to a much larger premises in Consett last year has underpinned this growth, and we are excited about the future as we seek to develop more new products and new markets.”

The prestigious Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 Awards, in association with The Journal, celebrate growth, innovation and the commercial achievements of North East businesses. Based on financial data filed with Companies House, the list ranks the fifty best performing privately-owned companies which have consistently increased turnover over the past three financial years, whilst remaining profitable.
